After illegally occupying Palestinian land, the Jews tried various ways to force the Palestinians out of their land. This the Palestinians refused to do, justifying their rejection on grounds of equitable justice, the historical right of their occupation of the land and the United Nations Charter, which gave all people the right to determine their own destinies. Reacting to the Palestinians refusal to relinquish their land, a Jewish terrorist organization known as ‘Jewish Agency’ declared total war against the Palestinians and embarked on a policy “to terrorize the Palestinians to leave their homes” before the British mandate expires. The notorious event towards the execution of the Jewish policy of terrorizing Palestinians was the brutal and inhuman massacre of Palestinians- men, women and children- at the village of Deir Yassin. In April 1948, the Jewish forces in Palestine swung into full scale attack and by the time the British mandate was terminated on May 14, 1948 about 400,000 Palestinians have became refugees. The Palestinians have never seen any justification for taking their land and making them homeless for the purpose of settling the homeless Jews who were victims of European persecution, for which the Palestinians had not the slightest responsibility. The end result had been the near extermination of the Palestinians. In a nutshell, the Palestinians can be described as victims of imperialistic conspiracy. Their issue is one of determined people who were robbed of their land, rendered homeless and will be deemed to be in exile perpetually unless the Islamic World is prepared to take immediate and practical steps to deliver its brethrens from the unprecedented savagery of the Jews and their collaborators. To say that Palestinians are determined people is a fact that cannot be denied by anybody. Despite air strikes, killings, ethnic cleansing, arson, rape, robbery, arrests, imprisonments, demolition, abduction, torture, siege and blockage, harassment, expulsion and various forms of threat and humiliation, the Palestinians are still persistent in resisting the Zionist occupation of their land. Young, old and even children are not left behind in fighting the enemy occupier.
